Who knew the year we have been waiting for 2020 will bring so much pain to the world with a pandemic called Coronavirus. About 4 million cases with 270,000 deaths have changed the lives of every human being living on this planet. People are afraid, jobless, sick, praying behind closed doors to get out of this crazy situation we are witnessing today. People never thought they will be afraid to meet their friends and family members maintaining social distance. Although we may have seen in the past few days the rate of people getting affected with the virus is slowing down but the threat is still there.

With so much going around imagine what our world will look like in the future. Let's go over some of the changes that we may see as after effects of this pandemic.
Social Change
People have started to practice Social Distancing. Loved ones won't be seeing each other for weeks maybe months. It may become normal to wear a mask every time you go out in public. The practice of shaking hands will vanish, people will prefer to say 'Hello' from a 6 feet distance now. If someone 'sneezes', we may say 'bless you' but will move away from that person as far as we can. There will be no or minimal social events. No more dining out, game nights, movie shows. All of this to protect our self from the virus.
Industrial Change
The way people used to work in offices will not be the same for some time now. Everyone is working from home now, even me! We will miss all those face to face meetings, all the jokes we used to crack with our colleagues, all the monthly breakfasts and lunches will now be gone for some time. As we have already seen many businesses have been closed due to the virus. We may not see small businesses for some time and if we do, it will take some time for the businesses to get to their stable position. Employees of big companies may be working from home but they won't be seeing their colleagues for some time.
Economical Change
All the trade between countries will slow down. There will be no import and export resulting we won't be seeing many of the international products in our country. Many countries are depending on exports will affect their economy as they won't be getting enough money into their country. As 90 percent of the import comes into the US is from China that mainly includes electronic items like Laptops, ceiling fans, Christmas Lights, Portable Lamps, and much more. All of this will be gone unless the US starts producing these items on its own.
Educational Change
Schools and universities have been closed for months now. Everyone is attending their classes online. There are many students enrolled in the same course but they don't know each other, they have never seen them. Social interaction between students is almost zero now. Schools teach us how to interact with fellow students, they teach us how to deal with people in real life, how to make friends but with this online education students may get their grades but no friends!
Psychological Change
All of this staying at home orders are necessary to stop the spread of virus but they are also affecting people Psychologically. Everyone is having less interaction with others causing boredom, mood swings, depressions. Interacting with people is human nature, staying home for a prolonged time affect your mental health. Even after lifting those orders people will still be cautious before going out and doubting every other person if they are affected with virus.
The Best Part!!!
Although we are experiencing these difficult times in our lives but this pandemic has given us lots of lessons to learn from. Staying away from your loved ones taught you how important they are to you! It made us imagine life without our loved ones. This technology boom may have made our lives easy but it has already moved our loved ones away from real life. All the interaction left is through internet. But now due to this pandemic we imagined how our world will look like without them.
Yes it is the truth that many people are jobless, businesses closed. But many of them learned new skills to improve themselves. And will be using those skills to restart their life. Many people have not given up.
Life after Covid-19 will be different but better than before, where people will be closer to their loved ones in real life, people will follow more hygienic practices, people will be more thankful for what they have or what more they can achieve. Most of all people will love life more than they did before and will lead this life safe, healthy and peacefully!
Please comment below with all the ideas you have what your life will look like after this pandemic! Have a great and happy life! :-)
This article was very well written. You touched on so many good things!! I hope you are staying safe and I hope to see more blogs from you.
Nice article
This is very well written, I do disagree that handshakes are going to go away, too many people just want things to get back to normal and act like this event never happened. And even at the height of the infection rate some people were standing right next to one another *cough* protesters. But yeah, It's really sad for students, those graduating and those in their first year of college/highschool. And I can't stop thinking of kids who don't have good home lives and kind of have an escape at school everyday. Anyway, on another topic I am really impressed by this blog site, I kinda want to make one myself now. - Zion
